Goal

Give managers one home to pay creators and manage all financial processes—funding, approvals, payouts, and configuration—clearly and quickly across currencies.

Overview

CreatorIQ is a creator marketing platform used by brands and agencies to find talent, collaborate on campaigns, track results, and pay.

Creators are independent publishers and entrepreneurs — big and small — who post on social networks, blogs, and storefronts, earning income through paid collaborations and affiliate sales.

Platforms in scope include social media and creator-owned sites; commerce data comes from affiliate networks (Impact, Rakuten, CJ, ShareASale, Amazon Associates, LTK) and brand-direct programs. The Performance section brings social metrics and commerce outcomes together in one place.

Context

Creators come to CreatorIQ with simple questions: What worked this month? Which links drove sales? What actually got approved? This data all existed on the site, but it was siloed in different places with different labels, forcing creators to piece together results from social analytics, affiliate dashboards, and their inboxes.

Core problems

  • Scattered metrics without a clear narrative

  • Unclear commission statuses (approved, pending, declined)

  • Inconsistent and weak filters (especially on mobile)

  • No way to share results without screenshots and manual note-taking

Jobs to be done

  • Display overall performance by time range

  • Identify top posts and links to identify repeatable strategies

  • Track commissions and sales with legible statuses

  • Export proof for brands and accounting

Design principles

  • Lead with clarity over volume

  • Maintain one set of terms across tabs, tiles, and tables

  • Make filters first-class and remember choices

  • Co-locate money and status in one place

  • Provide clean exports that mirror on-screen filters

Information architecture

Solution

Overview

Creators land on Overview and immediately understand how they’re doing. Compact tiles show posts, engagement rate, likes, comments, reach, and total earnings for the selected period. A Top Performing Posts strip highlights five posts with network badges and quick stats. Two summary blocks guide deeper exploration—See Link Performance and See Sales Performance—opening the correct tab already filtered.

  • High-signal metrics only, unified time range

  • Fast path from insight to action

Links

A sortable table lists every shoppable link with created date, clicks, transactions, commissions, sale amount. Counters show Total Links and Total Clicks; filters for Campaign and Link type narrow scope quickly. Each row has See Transactions for detail, and Export to CSV respects current filters.

  • Persistent filters and stable columns

  • Safe link truncation with full URL on focus/hover

  • Mobile uses the same mental model with stacked cards

Commissions & Sales

This tab answers the top support question: what got approved, what’s pending, what was declined. A summary band shows Total Sales for the period, then three cards break down commissions by state. The table lists transactions with status chips, order IDs, referring links, and amounts; exports match what’s on screen.

  • Clear money states reduce tickets and back-and-forth

  • One click jumps from a transaction to its link for context

All three tabs keep the same concepts on mobile. Sticky filters hold context, tiles stack cleanly, and exports work from the phone. A creator can answer how did I do this month and share a CSV on the go.

The end.
